Born in Horley in the South of England, whose only claim to fame is that it’s the closest town to Gatwick Airport.
Studied at Brighton University (well Polytechnic actually but that doesn’t sound as good). Something happened there that totally changed the course of my life and eventually brought me out to Spain. Want to know what? You’d better tune in to the Really Good News Show on Sundays to find out.
Started off on Coastline doing 1 minute a month, then got to know Chris Townsend and now I’m doing 8 hours a month (a dangerous man to know!). I enjoy life in Spain working in a Spanish Christian Church, preaching and attempting to keep the children of Velez Malaga amused with our open-air Bible Clubs.
If you didn’t work in radio what would you do: Listen to Coastline all day (creep!).
Claim to fame: My dad lived next door to Ronnie Biggs, one of the Great Train Robbers.
Most embarrassing moment: Rushing out my house in England one day after spotting a girl I liked walking down the road, only to find half way down the road that I had managed to take a particularly embarrassing pyjama top with me stuck in my jacket. Had to try and keep my cool and get rid of the pyjama top at same time!.
Favourite artist: Van Gogh... oh sorry, you mean music... well, from Christian music: Amy Grant, Jaci Velasquez, Ginny Owens, Out of Eden, DC Talk. Other music: Madness, Tears for Fears, 80s music and Phill Collins.
Favourite football team: Chelsea
Favourite food: Endless... curries, italian food and...chocolate.
Favourite drink: Spanish Coffee.
Hobbies: Don't get much time for them but going to the cinema, travelling and following football mainly.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and why: I'm looking forward to a heavenly city, but Spain's pretty good. I miss English autumns and winters though (believe it or not!).
What do you always have in your fridge at home : Apart of the half-eaten mouldy yogurt at the back you mean? Chocolate and cheese I reckon.
