If you didn’t work in radio what would you do: Well radio is part-time for me anyway – my other job is in computing.
Claim to fame: Was introduced to Her Majesty the Queen by Esther Rantzen, at a Buckingham Palace reception for the Broadcasting industry in November 2001.
Most embarrassing on-air moment: Tipped a glass of fruit punch over the sound mixer at a disco – five seconds later, the whole sound system went dead!
Favourite artist: Mark Knopfler. I think he’s the greatest guitarist ever – no question.
Favourite colour: Light blue.
Favourite football team: England during the World Cup, otherwise don’t really bother!
Favourite food: Roast lamb and mint sauce.
Favourite drink: Blackthorn cider.
Hobbies: Sailing, gardening, photography.
Star sign: Capricorn.
Most often worn item of clothing and why: A T-shirt and shorts (what else, when the temperature’s in the nineties?!!).
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and why: Well, the Costa del Sol’s pretty good for starters…!
